Luxury Windows, Doors & Architectural Products | Webster Window and Door
Webster Window and Door is expanding into Kansas City, and we’re looking for an experienced sales professional who wants the opportunity to help build a market.
You’ll represent leading luxury window, door, and architectural product lines, develop relationships with architects, custom builders, designers, remodelers, and homeowners, and build a book of business with significant long-term growth potential.
The opportunity is substantial, but this is not a desk job or a role where success comes from waiting for leads. We need someone willing to roll up their sleeves, get into the market, visit jobsites, open doors, work through project details, follow up, and do the work required to establish Webster Window and Door in Kansas City.
The Opportunity
You will lead business development in Kansas City, using Webster Window and Door’s broader portfolio of premium windows, doors, hardware, and architectural products.
You’ll have the support, product expertise, manufacturer relationships, and operational infrastructure of an established company behind you, but you’ll help build the local market in front of you. As the business grows, so can the role, including the opportunity to establish a Kansas City showroom, build a local team, and become a key leader in the market.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new business throughout the Kansas City luxury residential market.
- Build relationships with architects, custom home builders, designers, remodelers, and high-end homeowners.
- Create opportunities through prospecting, meetings, presentations, lunch-and-learns, networking, referrals, and job site visits.
- Work to get Webster Window and Door’s products considered and specified early in the design process through architect and builder relationships.
- Review plans, consult on product and design solutions, develop proposals, follow up, negotiate, and close projects.
- Own the customer relationship from the first conversation through project completion and stay involved when problems need to be solved.
- Work closely with Webster Window and Door’s St. Louis team and manufacturer partners on quoting, ordering, delivery, installation coordination, and project execution.
- Help establish Webster Window and Door’s long-term presence, reputation, showroom, and team in Kansas City as the market grows.
Who We’re Looking For
We want someone who has already proven they can sell, but who still has the hunger to build.
- A strong track record of generating and closing sales.
- Experience in luxury windows and doors, millwork, architectural products, premium building materials, or a related high-end category.
- Experience building relationships with architects, builders, designers, remodelers, and/or homeowners.
- Comfort selling technical, highly customized, design-oriented products and reading architectural plans.
- An entrepreneurial, self-motivated approach with the discipline to manage a long, complex sales pipeline.
- A willingness to prospect, visit jobsites, solve problems, handle details, and do what is needed to move the market forward.
Existing relationships in the Kansas City luxury residential market are highly valued but not required for the right candidate.
